monday.com mobile app review 2026: Features, limitations, and workarounds
Our field team needs to update tasks while on-site. I'm evaluating the monday.com mobile app but getting mixed reviews from the team. What works well and what are the major limitations? Are there essential workarounds for features missing on mobile?

Mobile app works well for: updating status, adding comments, viewing dashboards, and basic task creation. Missing: automations editor, some column types (Formula, Dependency), and board templates. Workarounds: 1) Create simple 'Quick Update' views with only essential columns, 2) Use the mobile web app for full functionality when needed, 3) Set up Slack integration for mobile notifications. The app is solid for 'consume and update' workflows, not for 'build and configure'.
The offline mode is actually good - cached boards work without signal. Main frustration: can't access the Admin panel from mobile - need desktop for user management. For field teams, pre-build simplified mobile-friendly views.
