We're migrating 15 team boards from Trello to monday.com. Need to preserve card history, comments, and attachments. What's the best migration path? Should we use the native import or a third-party tool? How do we handle Trello-specific features like labels and power-ups?

We migrated 8 boards last quarter. Process: 1) Use monday.com's CSV import from Trello export (Trello has a JSON/CSV export), 2) Map labels to Tags, checklists to Subitems, 3) Attachments need manual re-upload - there's no automated way, 4) Keep your Trello board read-only for 30 days as reference. Gotchas: Trello dates don't always map correctly, review all due dates after import. Budget 3-4 hours per board for review/cleanup.

The monday.com import tool has improved but still misses some Trello features. We used Tray.io for a cleaner migration. Also: don't try to replicate Trello exactly - use the migration as a chance to restructure. Trello boards get messy over time.
